The power drawbar is designed for use with the Tormach Tooling System (TTS), but easily pivots away to allow manual tightening of the drawbar if necessary for conventional R8 tooling.

The UC100 Motion Controller is difficult to install with Tormach's PCNC version of Mach3. I was able to install the drivers, but the PCNC Mach3 would not recognize or use the UC100. The problem lies in the configuration file. PCNC Mach3 makes you install the Parallel Port driver and it sets this as default control device.

Tormach calls it TTS for Tormach Tooling System. They have a registered trademark on the name TTS and on the name Tormach. The springs and air cylinders have some limitations.

Looks like a TTS (Tormach Tooling System) copy. cnczone is the place for ATC threads, although for that size of mill, most seem to revolve around the TTS system. The TTS uses a collet type system that clamps onto a parallel shank, which seems fine provided you're not pushing the spindle too hard especially on interupted cuts.

If you inyect air in A and C while B and D are conected to the atmosphere, you get twice the force. Then since I don't actually need force to retract the piston, I can only apply air to B or D, or even use a spring. NYCCNC has a great video disassembling his Tormach power drawbar that maybe helps explaining how it works.
