Jakarta. State-controlled miner Aneka Tambang, or Antam, received a recommendation from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources for an additional 1.25 million metric tons of nickel ore exports over the next 12 months, chief executive Arie Prabowo Ariotedjo said on Tuesday (24/10).

This ore is so rich in limonite (generally grading 47% to 59% iron, 0.8 to 1.5% nickel and trace cobalt) that it is essentially similar to low-grade iron ore.
