We were "loaned" an Igloo Kool Mate 36 that you can plug in to the vehicles power supply. It also has a jack so that once I reach a campsite I can plug it in to a regular outlet.
We have a Kool-A-Tron. Got it for Christmas, it worked a week in January and failed. But we didn't know it till we went to use it in July. Vendor's position was it was out of warranty. And not really sorry. I found a replacement cooling module/chip/Peltier Junction on Amazon and ordered thermal paste from the same seller.
